Bidisa advocates for elder rights and conducts awareness programs, reaching out to both people and the government, so elders can access their entitlementsBankura Integrated Development And Initiative For Sustainable Action  work for, Education, Forest Management, Women Empowerment, Vocation Training, Literacy in Tribal Area, Rural Development, Strengthen of Panchayat Raj Institution, Health-Education – SHG, Health and family welfare, Human development in urban and rural areas.

Education

  • Organize awareness of child labour, child rights, Right to Education, through rallies, meetings, and campaigns.
  • Facilitate regular enrolment and enrol dropouts in mainstream schools.
  • Start a Children’s Learning Centre
  • Form Children’s Club (need-based).
  • Start a Transit School (need-based).
  • Provide training to Village Development Committee volunteers on child rights and community participation.
  • Strengthen Government schools by supporting the Village Education Committee and Parent Teacher Association & School Management Committee (SMC).

Empowering Women

  • Form self-help groups.
  • Provide vocational skill training.
  • Provide microcredit.
  • Create/strengthen enterprises.
  • Provide adult literacy training to SHG women, based on literacy levels.

    Health

    • Conduct medical camps.
    • Provide sanitation loans for toilet construction.
    • Promote childhood nutrition and renovate Government-run day-care centres.
    • Conduct anaemia-control programmes.
    • Conduct Health training for SHG members.

      Environment

          • Spread awareness of effective collection and disposal of waste.
          • Create awareness of environmental conservation and renewable energy.
          • Promote sustainable farming and livelihood practices.
          • Promote green villages.

      Skills Development And Technology Centre

      • Conduct e-literacy and ICT programmes.
      • Spread awareness of Citizens’ rights, duties, and Government welfare schemes.
      • Provide income-generating activities.

        Clean & Safe Drinking Water

        Through our Village Uplift Programme, we ensure that schoolchildren and villagers have access to clean & safe drinking water. This is done through the installation of Reverse Osmosis units for water purification and provision of bore wells in villages and schools which lack potable water.
