Bankura Integrated Development And Initiative For Sustainable Action (Society for Welfare & Development of Human Initiatives), a duly registered Society, having its own registered office at Gopeswarpally, P.O.-Bishnupur, P.S.-Bishnupur, Dist.-Bankura, Pin-722122, West Bengal started its activities with a number of qualified persons and some enthusiastic young men and women. We started our journey on 11-10-2004 registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act. 1961.

The Society runs with the inspiring words of Swami Vivekananda that: “It is the strong mind that hews its way through a thousand difficulties”. Society has the capacity to provide efficient technical & non-technical persons to render complete dedication to run the educational Institutions successfully. Now, it is conducting training programs under different livelihood sectors to develop the socio-economic condition of the people mainly of the young people & organizing educational, cultural & social activities effectively.

Indeed Bankura Integrated Development And Initiative For Sustainable Action is fundamentally an institution of the youth, by the youth and for the youth. Even with limitations, Bankura Integrated Development And Initiative For Sustainable Action work for, Education, Forest Management, Women Empowerment, Vocational Training, Literacy in Tribal Area, Rural Development, Strengthen of Panchayat Raj Institution, Health-Education – SHG, Health and family welfare, Human development in urban and rural areas.
